| 1. | The game played at FTN events is ‘No Limit Texas Hold’ em Poker’.

| 2. | A deck of 52 cards without jokers is used.
|
| 3. | The ‘Dealer Button’ indicates where the initial deal will start.
|
| 4. | A nominated person may deal the cards assuming he/she is a participant in the game at hand.
|
| 5. | One card face down is dealt to each player in a clockwise direction from the dealer button and a second card is then dealt to each player in the same way to complete the ‘Initial Deal’.
|
| 6. | After the initial deal the following playing actions will occur:
i. | The first to act will be the person on the left of the big blind and they will decide whether to CALL, RAISE or FOLD their hand, with play continuing in a clockwise fashion.
|
ii. | ‘The Flop’ – The dealer will burn one (1) card face down and deal three (3) cards face up.
|
iii. | The person to the left of the 'Dealer Button' is now first to act and will decide whether to CHECK, BET or FOLD their hand, with play continuing in a clockwise fashion.
|
iv. | ‘The Turn’ - After all playing action is decided the dealer will burn one (1) card and deal one (1) card face up.
|
v. | The person to the left of the 'Dealer Button' will decide whether to CHECK, BET or FOLD their hand, with play continuing in a clockwise fashion.
|
vi. | ‘The River’ – After all playing action is decided the dealer will burn one (1) card and deal one (1) card face up.
|
vii. | All participants, in the order in which the cards were dealt, will decide whether to CALL, RAISE or FOLD their hand.
|
|
| 7. | The highest hand as per rule 8 wins the pot. Any side pots from all in action is awarded accordingly.
|
| 8. | Hand ranking is as follows from lowest to highest – No hand, One Pair, Two Pairs, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, Straight Flush, Royal Flush.
|
| 9. | An Ace may count as high or low. All hands if tied have the winner determined by card value rundown.
